Calcite
Calcite is one of the most common minerals in the world and is found in a variety of crystal forms. Calcite also occurs in massive lumps, granular masses and fibrous habits and forms stalactites and stalagmites. Calcite can be found in almost every colour across the spectrum. Calcite is found in South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Swaziland.
